Under Construction

You may notice the following projects as your drive your RFVV vehicle.

Maroon Creek Bridge Construction: The Maroon Creek Bridge replacement project is underway. Currently the majority of the bridge replacement work is being done off of Hwy 82 with minimal impact to traffic. Any road closures that take place should occur after 7:30pm.

For info on the most current bridge developments, please visit www.dot.state.co.us/MaroonCreek/index.cfm

S-Curves Demonstration: From August 8 until August 26, the City of Aspen will demonstrate options for improving the safety and flow of traffic through the S-Curves. These include the closure of several Main Street/Hwy 82 access points as well as left turn restrictions from Cemetery Lane.

News Briefs

Car #004 Update
Drivers of Car #004, parked at the AABC, may notice a small problem with the vehicle. The door chime will sound anytime that the driver door is ajar, even after you remove the key from the caršs ignition. The chime will not sound while the car is being driven. RFVV has chosen not to fix this problem immediately. This decision was made in order to keep the car in service and to save RFVV funds. The problem will be fixed when Car #004 is serviced for other reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience. In other news, Car # 004 has a new windshield, courtesy of Craks & Racks!
