From Your Member Manual

For the next few months, we will highlight portions of the manual that you may find particularly helpful. The most current member manual is available at: http://www.roaringforkvehicles.com/membermanual.html

Returning Your Vehicle
The RFVV vehicle must be properly returned by the end of the booking period. Proper return of the vehicle means that:

  • it is locked, with all its papers intact, parked in its official parking spot;
  • the interior of the vehicle is clean;
  • the trip has been properly and completely recorded on the trip ticket
  • the fuel tank is over 1/4 full.

Parking Your Vehicle
Members must return vehicles to their designated RFVV parking spaces. RFVV members are responsible for any parking tickets that are received during their reservation period.

A note on parking
No Parking flyers are in all vehicle glove compartments. If a vehicle is improperly parked in an RFVV space, place a flyer on the car and call the office immediately. Park the RFVV vehicle in the nearest legal space and leave a note in the lock box so the next member can find the car.
 
 

RFVV Tidbits

RFVV cars are identified by conspicuous logos, so please be a courteous driver. Yield to buses and pedestrians, obey speed limits and avoid road rage when driving our vehicles. Report unsafe drivers to the State Patrol by dialing *CSP on your cellular phone after pulling over.

Vehicle Update: Shovels are now available in all cars for snow removal. Windshield wipers have also been replaced on most vehicles.

Remember: To fill out your trip ticket completely including your name, member number, mileage and all other requested information.
