Snow Tires
All the cars will have their snow tires removed soon. As of 5/6/04, both 002 and 003 have had their summer tires put back on. Please keep this in mind as we get hit with surprise spring snowstorms.

New Rates Effective (5/01/04)

This is RFVV's first rate increase in 3 years! As we are expanding our fleet, possibly accepting credit cards, and seeing gas prices topping $2.00 everywhere, we have to reflect those increases in expenses in our prices. Our new price structure reflects a 15% increase:

Hourly $3.50, Mileage $0.20, Fixed Daily Rate $62.00

Monthly administrative charges will still be $10.00, late payment charges will stay at $5.00, and application charges will remain at $25.00. These are still the lowest prices in the country and still make carsharing a great alternative to personal vehicle ownership!
 
 
 

Got ta keep on movin'

Well, we tried it.   The car at Truscott has not been very successful since we put it into place in February 2004.   We have decided to move it at the end of May.   Its new home will be in the Aspen Airport Business Center.   Keep your eyes on the Member News and your ears to the reservation system to find out where we are going to place car number 004, the Focus Sedan.

   
 

Accepting Plastic?

We want to hear from you!   Many folks have approached us about credit cards.   Should we accept credit cards, if so, which ones?   Would this make things easier for you?   We are looking at approximately a 5% surcharge if we accept credit cards; this would be included in our most recent rate change (see above).   This would be a mandatory change for ALL customers.   Please let us know how you feel.
